A Knight at the Ballet

The legendary Rudolf Nureyev produced this award-winning version of Don Quixote on The Australian Ballet in 1970. One of the great dancers of the 20th century, he had a profound effect on both dance and dancers. His genius was the ability to inspire the best from everyone he came into contact with. The Australian Ballet’s dancers worked with him from 1964 until the year before his death in 1993. In this talk with former company dancers, we will reminisce on the man and our association with him.
